We just returned home from teaching the 2019 Death Valley Fine Art Summit after a 2 day drive from Lee Vining to Phoenix with an overnight stopover in Las Vegas. Thank you to all of you who attended and made this event a success, and thank you to Jeff Schewe and Kevin Raber for giving great presentations.
2020 Summit pre-announcement:
The 2020 Fine Art Photography Summit will take place in Page, Arizona the first week of November 2020. Jeff Schewe will be our guest instructor again and both of us will give presentations about our work and about the latest features of Lightroom and Photoshop. We will also be printing participants work during the Summit.
Page is the home of many fantastic photo locations including the Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, plus many little known slot canyons, hoodoos and unique rock formations. The field workshop after the Summit will take you to Navajoland with photography stops at Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Coal Mesa and many other locations.

September 14th
We just returned from teaching the 2019 Little Known Northern New Mexico Workshop. The image featured here was taken at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe by one of our participants. We visited the Museum during the workshop. The reason I am holding the Ferrari Prancing Horse Magazine is because this magazine has a section featuring photographs of Ferrari Club members in various locations holding the magazine and I wanted to be featured in that section. I will submit this photograph, as well as others taken in other locations, and we will see if they publish one of them.
