Looking at fine art photographs on the web does not let you see the full quality of the original prints. The original prints exhibit more colors, contrast and nuances than is possible to show with a web jpeg. If you like my images on the web, you will love to see my original prints!
In addition, if you are looking at purchasing one or several of my fine art photographs, it is understandably difficult to make a decision from looking at images on a web site. This is true for all photographs, but particularly for large pieces since on a computer monitor a 16x20 print looks is the same size as a 30x40 print. This is why seeing the artwork in person is tremendously useful in helping you select your favorite photograph(s).
For all these reasons Natalie and I offer you the opportunity to see my work in person by visiting our gallery.
In addition to the opportunity to view and select my work in person, our home gallery also features my latest work as well as one of a kind pieces. These pieces are not normally featured on my website. Some one of a kind pieces are offered in presentations not shown on the web such as stretched canvas prints, or prints mounted on a wooden support. We also offer a line of work that features mats decorated with unique items. Many of them are only offered in one example, and are not available again once they are sold.
My books and tutorials (Mastery DVDs, Master Files CDs, Portfolio CD, etc.) are also available in the gallery. We have a computer available for you to view the contents of each tutorial so that you can give it a test run and see if it meets your needs.
We also have a small collection of Navajo Jewelry on display and for sale. These are pieces made by Navajo Jewelers that we know personally and from whose work we purchase work directly. This collection also features one of a kind pieces and our inventory varies according to their production.
Gallery visits are by appointment only. To make your gallery visit as enjoyable as possible, we recommend that you schedule your visit as far in advance as feasible. That way you will know for sure that we are available and that we have no other commitments on the day of your visit. Because we spend a lot of time out in the field on extended photographic expeditions, we recommend that you inform us of your visit 3 weeks ahead of time if you can. Shorter lead times are possible if we are available when you call. However, if you are traveling a long way from home, we do recommend that you let us know as early as possible to make sure we will be available. We will give you directions to our home gallery when you contact us.
If you are interested in a specific image, we also recommend that you let us know the size and the title when you schedule your visit so that we make sure it is available the day of your visit.
Gallery visits are free. The only cost is the cost of the photographs, tutorials or books, if you decide to make a purchase (there is no obligation to buy anything). If you do make a purchase you can elect to take your artwork with you or to have it shipped. We can ship to any destination in the world and we guarantee that your artwork will be delivered to you intact or we will replace it at no cost to you.
