The white sand dunes, being neutral in color, took on the color of the sky. \u00a0While the sand was white it looked blue to the camera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">My eyes did not see the blue color because human eyesight neutralizes colors. \u00a0To me the dunes looked white. \u00a0To the camera they were blue because digital sensors, and film to some extent, capture color the way it is. \u00a0Unlike human sight they do not neutralize colors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">During processing I altered the color slightly to create harmonious blue tones and make the scene aesthetically pleasing. \u00a0However the color was there to start with.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/beautiful-landscape.com\/Reflections\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/CF020070-6001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1629 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beautiful-landscape.com\/Reflections\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/CF020070-6001.jpg\" alt=\"CF020070-600\" width=\"472\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/beautiful-landscape.com\/Reflections\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/CF020070-6001.jpg 472w, https:\/\/beautiful-landscape.com\/Reflections\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/CF020070-6001-236x300.jpg 236w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 472px) 100vw, 472px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>About Alain Briot<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I create fine art photographs, teach workshops and offer DVD tutorials on composition, image conversion, optimization, printing and marketing.
