Natalie and Alain Briot wish you a Happy New Year! May your photography projects get completed, printed and exhibited and may your photography goals be reached, whatever they may be. And if you need help, we are here and will be here all year long 🙂
The layout and organization of my Reflections Blog was improved over the Holidays.
1 – The blog is now formatted as a dynamic site, meaning the page size will adjust automatically to fit the size of the digital device you are using.
2 – The essays were reorganized in specific categories. Each essay appears now in a single category while before the same essay appeared in multiple categories.
3 – The menu at the top of the home page features direct links to the Mastery Workshops on DVD/USB Updates site as well as to my Videos Site, Field Workshops, Podcast and eBooks page.
4 – The Mastery Workshops Updates site was also updated to a dynamic web page.
If you are a Mastery Workshop on USB/DVD Owner and have not registered for the Mastery Updates Site yet you can do so now by visiting this link. If you are a Mastery Workshop owner but you have not checked the Mastery Updates for your Mastery Workshop in some time, now is the perfect time to do so.
Finally, if you did not visit my blog for some time this is the ideal opportunity to take a look and read some of my essays. Blog essays are usually not published anywhere else.
Thank you for your interest in my work.
New Free Episode
A new podcast episode was published today. You can listen to it at this link. This is the 73rd episode of our podcast.
About our Podcast
In this podcast Natalie and I discuss the many aspects of professional landscape photography, from technical to philosophy, composition, art, marketing, equipment and much more. I share my 30+ years of experience in a series of discussions with Natalie, my wife and business partner. This podcast also features readings of essays by myself, excerpts from Travis Terry Native American Flute CDs, video print reviews of fine art photographs, excerpts from my tutorials, and more.
You can listen to our podcast for free at this link:
73 free episodes are available for your enjoyment
We also talk about running a landscape photography business, how to sell fine art prints, how to market photographs, how to know when you have a best seller, and how to address clients.
We address the technical, artistic and philosophical aspects of landscape photography, including our unique approach to the art of photography. In doing we contest a number of myths which, we believe, are holding back numerous photographers and preventing them from creating world-class images.
Join us in this exciting, and at time controversial, series of conversations, both in audio and movie format. Not only is it well worth your time, it will also help you become a better photographer and will save you years of trial and error by providing you with our life-long experience
