The Photograph
The 37th Alain Briot Print of the Month photograph is titled Zabriskie Point. Zabriskie Point is one of the most amazing locations in Death Valley National Park, a visual feast equivalent in possibilities to Antelope Canyon in my estimate. This image was created this spring and took me over a month to optimize.

Because of the complex number of adjustments I made to this image I thought it would be of interest to other photographers to see what these adjustments consist of exactly. Therefore, I am including a CD with a screen-sized copy of the Master File. The Master File contains the original image complete with all the layers I created. This will allow you to visualize the "before and after" versions of the image on your own computer, which I am sure will give you more accurate colors and contrast than the web version. It will also allow you to see each adjustment layer I created for this photograph, and practice recreating these adjustments on your own. Think of it as being able to look over my shoulder and see exactly how I went from the raw conversion to the Master File. There are about 10 different adjustment layers total.

This CD is included with all orders for Zabriskie Point and ships with your matted or framed photograph at no extra cost. I have not decided if I will make the CD available separately.

This photograph is available matted, or matted and framed in a Mahogany FinishFrame. Below is a sample of the moulding. The mat is white, archival Bainbridge. Mounting is with hinged archival tape. All materials used are archival.
