The Photograph
I am pleased to announce the release of the 31st Alain Briot Print of the Month Collection photograph: Luminous Canyon, Sedona, Arizona.
This photograph is my personal vision of this canyon near Sedona. It was achieved after a full week of work on the image, work that consistered of what can be best explained as "very careful color and contrast corrections". Over 20 layers and 5 master files were needed to complete the print offered here. The main challenge was creating a master file that expressed what I saw and felt when I created the image, when I was experiencing this scene. There were serious technical challenges to overcome and I had to go further than I had gone with most of my previous images.
I feel very good about this print which, at this time, is as close as I can get to matching my vision.
