The Photograph
I am pleased to announce the release of the ninth Alain Briot Print of the Month Collection photograph. This image is titled Burning Bush in Antelope Canyon, Arizona.

This is one of my personal favorites. It was taken in June 2002. To me Antelope Canyon is a very special place. It is a place which, in my estimate, each and every photographer should visit at least once in their life. If it is on your list: good for you. If Antelope Canyon is not on your list: put it on and get there as soon as you can. You will be thankful you did!

I have been photographing Antelope Canyon since 1986. I must have gone there over 100 times. However, finding a composition such as this one is not common. In fact, I never saw such a composition either before or after I created this image. Conditions and photographic opportunities change quickly in a slot canyon such as Antelope. One must be able to grab the opportunity as it presents itself.

As with all my top-quality work it was created with my Linhof 4x5 Master Technica using a Schneider 75mm Super Angulon lens and Fuji Provia 100F film. The exposure was 90 second at f45.

Keep in mind that this piece looks much better in reality than a web photograph can show! You just won't believe your eyes when you receive it.

The Print
This image is offered in both Studio and Gallery size. The gallery size is offered in a limited edition of only 100 images. Each photograph is signed -- and numbered-- individually by myself both on the print and on the mat. This way, if you have the photograph re-matted at a later time, you will still have my signature.

This image is available framed and unframed. The moulding is truly magnificent and does emphasize the beauty of the image. The photographs I took of the framed and matted piece show very closely how beautiful this presentation is. The frame is a handmade Mahogany Finish frame.
